Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Hotel Rott in the heart of Prague's old town was a blend of luxury and value, with a distinct Central European charm. The immaculately clean room, with its comfortable bed and top-notch soundproofing, provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city outside. The staff's kindness was exemplified by a thoughtful gesture of complimentary champagne for our honeymoon celebration. The prime location near iconic landmarks like the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge made exploring the city a breeze, saving precious time on transportation. While the room rate leaned towards the higher end, the impeccable service, central location, and excellent breakfast - a true standout with a dedicated and efficient team - justified the cost. The hotel's historic ambiance, though slightly dated, added to its unique character. Hotel Rott strikes a harmonious balance between luxury and affordability in the enchanting city of Prague.
